With the Noise Exposure App, you have the ability to estimate the noise levels in your surroundings. This application can be utilized to gauge noise levels both at work and in various environments such as inside your vehicle or at local sporting activities.

The features within the Noise Exposure App comprise:

To operate the app, position your phone away from your body with the microphone directed towards the noise source you intend to measure. Initiate the measurement process by tapping "Measure," and conclude by tapping "Stop." Upon completion, the app will display the average measurement value allowing you to save and label it. There is also an option to share your measurement results with friends or colleagues right away or at a later time.

In addition to practical functionalities, the app offers insights on noise levels and regulations. For further details about noise-related information, regulations, and understanding when noise poses health risks, feel free to visit our website.

While this app can offer valuable insights into noise levels at your workplace or other settings, it's important to note that it does not fully comply with European or international sound level meter standards due to phone limitations. For precise measurements, especially if recordings suggest dangerously high noise levels, we advise using professional equipment. Typically, Android phones measure sounds accurately within the range of 40 dB(A) to 80 dB(A), although microphone quality may vary. For dependable outcomes, always opt for a professional sound level meter.
